Like a lion is the king amongst all the animals, so is the case with Guru Pushya Yoga, amongst all the yogaâs. It is the most opportune and the most promising of the yogaâs. People begin all their auspicious events such as signing a new business venture, buying a new property or getting a new vehicle etc with the onset of this muhurat.
Usually the placement of Moon in the 4th, 8th and the 12th house is considered to be of great ominous and unfortunate nature but, such is the greatness of this Pushya Nakshatra that it makes the bad fortune go away, go far away.
It is widely believed that during this nakshatra, the goddess of wealth Lakshmi was born. When this Pushya Nakshatra falls on a Thursday or a Sunday, then Guru Pushyamrut Yoga and Ravi Pushya Yoga are formed. These Yogaâs are as auspicious and fortunate as Dhanteras, Chaitra Pratipada and so on and so forth.
Irrespective of the planetary positions, this Yoga is so powerful and positive in itself that it removes all the darkness and gloominess and replaces it with good fortune and blissfulness. Having said all that, it is usually advised that one shouldnât get married during Guru Pushya Nakshatra as it could have a menacing effect.
